Il Torrione in Forio d’Ischia
One of the most important tower of Forio was strategically built on a rocky mountain. For a while, it was defending the inhabitants against pirates. With impressive dimensions and a circular shape, it was also used to control the inhabitants. Nowadays, the civilian museum del Torrione is hosted within its walls, exhibiting artistic works and manifestations.
