Citara Beach

The name of this beach is inspired by the temple dedicated to the goddess Venus Citarea, and it’s considered the most beautiful bay of the isle. Located in the area of Punta Imperatore, it is known for being sunny all day long and for its thermal park “Poseidon Gardens„. The beach is the departure spot for numerous water sports, and because of its mostly sunny littoral, a lot of restaurants and thermal establishments have settled there.
